Fully featured, the RIO chassis is a Mini 32KD digital audio network. Housing 32 audio inputs, 32 audio outputs, 16 RS-485 serial ports and 16 optical coupled inputs and outputs (for DC control), the RIO engine has DSP processing and all of the functions required for all of the Rubicon series control surfaces.
The RIO engine is effectively the equivalent of a 32KD frame, with one (1) Input module, one (1) output module with DSP, one (1) Serial controller module (16 serial RS-485 ports) and one (1) GPI-1600 opto and relay chassis. Four (4) powerful products from Sierra Automated Systems contained in an economical, rack space saving 2 RU chassis provides an unsurpassed entry level system. When married to the Rubicon SL control surface, a whopping 18 channel full digital featured console is available for less the $ 25,000.00.
