Sierra Automated Systems intercom and IFB systems are designed for the express needs of radio broadcasters, whether stand-alone or fully-integrated in a Rubicon/32KD routing system.

A Rubicon, Rubicon-SL, or Rubi-T console can easily communicate with Sierra Automated Systems intercom stations and other Rubicon, SL and Rubi-T rooms using the main board op microphone, console cue speaker, and board op headphones.

Sierra Automated Systems Intercom and IFB systems require a 32KD or RIOGrande Mixer/Router for audio routing. Each station connects to the router with one audio input for talk, one audio output for listen, and one RS485 serial control line. Intercom and IFB systems can be fully integrated into a Rubicon-based system. Each pushbutton can be programmed for TALK to any station, GROUP TALK, LISTEN to any source, or relay trigger. Additionally, CALL ANSWER talks to the station that last called your station.
